The Photography Masterclass is designed for photographers who want to invest in their business, elevate their hobby, and develop their brand style. They love photography, thrive on being around other creative people, and want to keep investing in their craft no matter where they are on their journey.
It will be a safe place to learn and explore areas of your photography that you want to improve. It will be a place to share what you love about photography and inspire others with the accomplishments you've already made.
My name is Marcie Reif and I created a photography experience for women back in 2022 called the Roadtrippers Retreat, and it has been life changing for many women. I am bringing this workshop model to the studio in Atlanta. I help women who are struggling with self confidence, trying to grow their business, and looking to improve their photography in all areas. I teach women to believe in themselves and give them the tools to achieve their goals.

Learn how to achieve your goals along side of fear. There is no magical cure to making fear disappear but we can learn how to create along side it, when to listen to it, and when not too. You will learn that your fears are very comparable to everyone in the room. We will finally convince ourselves that fear is here to stay but we can learn to push past those voices and get to work on our goals.
CREATING WITH FEAR
CHAPTER ONE
We all learn photography from different platforms. This chapter is to go over the basics and share how I set my camera up to get the sharpest images possible, what lenses I like to use, and how I use light. We will discuss light and how it effects everything including all of your editing. This chapter will dissolve some frustrations you're having with your images "missing" something.

Chapter two
Being good at photography is not enough to have a thriving business. This chapter is to learn about the pieces that need to be in place to have a successful business. We will discuss a functioning website vs a pretty website. The importance of an email list, how to create one, your client communication workflow, setting up forms to book your sessions and get paid. Sale and marketing and how to talk to your clients to convert them to a paying client, setting your prices, using social media and so much more!

Mini Sessions are one of my favorite topics to teach on. When photographers want to know how to make more money but they are afraid to raise their prices, this is your answer. I will teach you my mini session model that will significantly raise your annual income. My entire marketing, workflow, and system is included to turn these sessions back to clients quickly.

We will have 2 styled family shoots. We will have one session in the studio and one session in the field at golden hour. We will also edit these images together so you can see how I edit in both settings. You may use these images to help grow your portfolio. We will also have a fun headshot hour where we will practice taking pictures of each other. You'll go home with a portfolio full of new images to add to your content.

Atlanta Airport - 20 mins away
The workshop will take place at my studio in Atlanta. We will start each morning around 7:30am. If you are not local I recommend you stay at the Embassy Suites Atlanta Midtown 290 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363. This is very close to the studio. It is your responsibility to get to the studio each day but I can transport you back to the hotel as long as you're close by. We will end the firstday with dinner or a sunset shoot.
