A family session will focus on capturing the joy of your family. I will photograph your family with a mix of traditional portraits and lifestyle images where the family is playful and having fun. Depending on what stage your family is in, we will decide together on the best location if you’d like a studio session or an outdoor location. A full session will be delivered within 7-10 days and all of the images in your gallery will be yours to download. Your experience will be top notch from start to finish.

FAMILY SESSION | $795
Milestones happen all throughout childhood and there are so many ways to document them. Two popular locations would be in the studio or outside. For little ones, the studio often works well for them because we don’t need to be at the mercy of the sun and weather for the best lighting. The best lighting for outdoor photos happens in the early morning or golden hour (1.5 hrs before sunset) the studio can give us so much more flexibility and can be scheduled any time during the day.
Milestones are priced for one child. If you wish to add on family photos to your child’s milestone session there is an additional cost.

Maternity & Newborn Sessions

You can schedule a single first year session or build your own first year package.
I will help document your exciting journey from pregnancy, through to the amazing birth of your child. I have variety of high end boutique maternity gowns you’re welcome to wear from the client closet. These sessions take place in the Atlanta studio or on location. Your images will display the beauty of the female form in pregnancy.

MATERNITY SESSION | $890
The style of my newborn posed shots are timeless and simple. I use all white and cream wraps and backdrops, with a few neutral colors occasionally mixed in. This preserves the simplicity of a newborn, and creates images that will withstand the test of time. I capture the baby as a whole, as well as every little detail that makes them special. This means that you’ll get detailed shots as well and shots of the whole baby. It creates the perfect memory of this fleeting time.
Time moves on the baby’s schedule for the sessions. We will stop anytime the baby needs a break to eat or just be held. I have simple props that I will use during the sessions. Mostly little headbands for the girls and different textured wraps for the boys. While I take the newborn’s pictures you are welcome to relax and rest. Having a newborn isn’t easy, and often you are with me within the first couple weeks of your child’s birth so I aim to make this experience as pleasant as I can for you. All of my clients tell me how much they enjoy this part of the session.
Once I finish the newborn portraits we will start the family session. Once the session is booked I will send you a short guide on how to prepare for the session and what to bring. This will help you to know what to expect and how we can prepare the baby for the best pictures possible.

The newborn session includes the posed newborn portraits where the baby is mostly naked with wraps to cover them, as well as a lifestyle family portraits where the baby is fully wrapped and easy to hold.
The posed newborn portraits are very simple and timeless. These posed shots can only be done within the first 2 weeks of birth. If we are doing the session when the baby is more than 2 weeks old we will find other creative ways to get individual portraits of the baby.
The family lifestyle portion of the session is where the baby will be wrapped and cozy so it’s easy for family members to hold the baby and they stay sleeping. During this part, we capture the baby with all the family members as a whole and then a few more individual shots of the baby on the bed or in the bassinet.
The full newborn session usually takes about 2 hours to complete, and includes all of the images in your gallery, plus a professional signature book with your images printed in it.

Step one is to let me know that you'd like to go ahead and book a newborn session. Once you are signed up for your newborn session we wait for the baby to be born. Once the baby is here, you let me know, and I will send you a link to the studio availability and you will choose a date that works for you ideally within 10 days of the birth.

NEWBORN SESSION | $990
Announcement sessions are a growing trend that I think are so fun! These sessions are typically for the purposes of sharing your exciting news with some professional pictures! Couples bring props of their choice anywhere from ultrasound pictures to letter boards with all the details! If you already have children bringing them in a cute announcement shirt is a great idea too!

tips for men
When picking outfits I recommend keeping in mind the word “complement” rather than “match.” For example, choose a print and then some solids to compliment it. I love to find a color palette and work from there.
A good rule of thumb: pick a color palette and spread them throughout the family. Don't be afraid to mix a few subtle patterns or textures (such as linen).
And always keep the location in mind. If we're shooting in a green field, light green dresses might blend in too much with the surroundings. Neutrals and earth tones photograph very well.
A GUIDE TO STYLING ON YOUR OWN
tips for men
My favorite choice for men is a simple shirt that fits well with jeans or some neutral colored pants or shorts depending on the season.
Try to avoid mens dress shirts and formal khaki pants. We don't want Dad looking like he's going off to work. We want dad to look comfortable and complimentary to the rest of the families outfits.
Sweaters, quarter zip/button shirts, henley, fitted tee's all work really well.
Jeans, navy, tan, or grey pants all look great.

Tips for Men
tips for women
Flowy empire waist dresses photograph very well. This is my go to choice for womens' clothing. They look great in walking and photos with movement. Choose an outfit you feel comfortable in, but don’t be afraid to dress up! This also allows you to be active with your kids and still look great! And dresses with sleeves (long or short) are a great way to help slim arms.
Softer, pastel and neutral colors tend to photograph better than bright colors - especially since bright colors could reflect on your skin. Neon and bright colors can reflect on your skin and create a color cast.
Tips for Women
tips for shoes
Shoes are usually the last thing we think about but don't let them be forgotten. Your kids play sneakers don't look good in the nice outfit that you picked out for them. Head to Walmart, Target, Amazon, or even a kids 2nd hand store and find some appropriate shoes to go with their outfit.
As a mom I completely understand that having these nice shoes often go unworn but for photos it's worth the extra investment and you can certainly find something for under $20!
I recommend sandals, short boots, or simple and clean slip on shoes.
I don't provide any shoes with my client closet.

My. photography studio is a gorgeous space to have any session done. It's all white with a huge window for the most beautiful natural light. This space is a one of a kind and located in West Midtown.

I am a big believers that images aren’t meant to solely exist on your phone and computer. It's unlikely that you'll print all of your images from your session so this is a way for me to take care of that for you. I can promise you that at the end of your family, maternity, or newborn session you will have a beautiful book delivered to your home and you'll fall in love with your pictures all over again!
If you booked a session such as a milestone or senior session that doesn't come with a signature book you can always add that on to your session!
